This is our first ever time going to a craft fair as vendors and leading up has been quite the ride. Fairs/festivals have been popular in our household for some years, and the various crafts have been huge eye grabbers. The idea to see it all from the other perspective crossed our minds, but we never took the leap…….until about two months ago where The Bristol Mum festival popped up in a search for fairs. They had an application right on the page and one thought came to mind- “hmm, why not?” and an application was submitted. We did not know what to expect but when the application came back about a week later with an acceptance, it was time to get serious.
What followed were various trips to craft stores, tables covered with art supplies or drying paintings, and various spurts of “I have an idea.” But that is the point of CraftingBazaarX; to make whatever comes to mind. Translating creative thoughts into a physical form that could be appreciated by those who love unique art. With us signing up later in the year, we had too many ideas and some are still waiting to come to life. Even so, we loved that we got the chance to show you all what we have been cooking up!
